Tormaresca
The Apulian viticulture is both very old and innovative, and the Tormaresca wines are the living proof of this.
The Antinori family saw very early on the potential of Puglia to produce top, popular wines with a huge personality; so they started to invest in the region in 1998.
Tormaresca is divided in two estates located in Puglia’s best wine areas: Bocca di Lupo, in the heart of the Castel del Monte DOC and Masseria Maime, in the magnificent Alto Salento.
The 140 hectares of Bocca di Lupo, at 300 metres above sea level, are planted with aglianico, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon, fiano puglia, moscato reale and nero di troia.
Masseria Maime is located on the Adriatic coast and spreads over 500 hectares of land, of which 350 hectares are under vines. The main grapes here are negroamaro, primitivo, cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay.
