Alma Cersius
Alma Cersius, a cooperative of 167 winegrowers from the Béziers region, is innovative, creative and true to the philosophy that a glass of wine should first and foremost be tasty. This joint project is a wine enterprise full of commitment that strives for absolute quality, coupled with a personal touch, a vision and know-how. Alma Cersius accounts for 1,200 ha of vineyards within the IGP Pays d’Oc and the IGP Coteaux de Béziers. The proximity of the sea tempers the often searing temperatures in the summer months on these alluvial terroirs with smooth rocks and clay. Since 2009, Alma Cersius has mainly opted for a policy of wines based on a single grape variety, including numerous international grape varieties such as Cabernet, Chardonnay and Sauvignon, but also rare varieties.
